Cookie Policy
This site sets two first-party cookies and runs no third-party trackers. That is the entire list.
There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no social embed and no third-party tag on this site. We are not claiming virtue — it simply means there is very little to disclose, and you can verify it in your browser’s network inspector.
1What we set
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
mbt_session | Keeps you signed in. Holds an opaque random token — no personal data, and useless without our database. | Strictly necessary | 30 days, or until you sign out |
mbt_ref | Remembers which partner referred you, so they are credited if you buy. | Marketing — needs your consent | 60 days |
mbt_ref_landing | Remembers which page you arrived on, so partner reporting is accurate. | Marketing — needs your consent | 60 days |
mbt_cookie_choice | Stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie. Remembers your answer to the cookie notice so we stop asking. | Strictly necessary | Until you clear site data |
2Your choice, and what it actually changes
The session cookie is strictly necessary — without it you cannot sign in, so it is set without consent, as the law permits.
The attribution cookies are not necessary, so we ask. Choosing Essential only deletes them immediately and stops the click from being reported. That has one real consequence worth knowing: if a partner referred you, they will not be credited for your purchase. It costs you nothing either way — the price is identical.
You can change your mind by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which brings the notice back.
3What a partner learns about you
Nothing identifying. A partner’s dashboard shows counts — clicks, sign-ups, paid orders — and the commission owed. It does not show your name, email, card details or what you looked at.
4Payment pages
When you continue to payment you are taken to our payment provider’s own hosted page. Cookies set there are theirs and are governed by their policy, not this one. This is also why your card number never reaches us.
5More detail
How we use the data behind these cookies, and your rights over it, are set out in the privacy policy.
