Risk Disclosure
Version 2026-11-02 · Effective 2026-11-02
You confirm you have read this before buying. It is short, and none of it is boilerplate we expect you to skip — every paragraph describes something that has actually cost traders money.
Trading leveraged instruments carries a high level of risk and can result in the loss of all of your capital. Automated software does not reduce that risk. It executes a strategy faster and more consistently than a person would — including into a loss. Only commit money you can afford to lose entirely.
1Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains
Trading on margin means a small move against your position can produce a loss far larger than the deposit required to open it. Depending on your broker and jurisdiction, you may lose more than your account balance, and you may face a margin call requiring further funds at short notice.
2No strategy is guaranteed, and none lasts forever
- A strategy that was profitable for years can stop working. Spreads widen, volatility regimes shift, liquidity moves, and the inefficiency a system exploits can simply disappear.
- Published results are history, not a forecast. A strong twelve months tells you what happened, not what will happen.
- Backtested and hypothetical results have inherent limitations: they are constructed with hindsight, they do not involve real capital, and they generally cannot fully model slippage, rejected orders or liquidity gaps.
- Drawdowns deeper than anything in the published record are always possible. The worst drawdown in a track record is the worst that has happened so far, not a floor.
3Your results will differ from ours
The same software on the same instrument produces different results on different accounts. The variables are mostly outside our control:
- your broker's spreads, commissions, swap rates and execution quality;
- slippage, particularly around news releases and at session open and close;
- the capital you commit and the risk settings you choose;
- your account's leverage, currency and instrument specification;
- whether your platform was actually running — a bot on a laptop that sleeps is a bot that misses exits.
4Operational risk is real risk
- A power cut, a VPS reboot, a dropped internet connection or a platform update can leave a position open with no system managing it.
- A broker can widen spreads, raise margin requirements, restrict an instrument or halt trading without notice.
- Automated systems can behave unexpectedly in conditions they have not met before — gaps, halts, flash moves, or an instrument that stops pricing.
- You are responsible for monitoring your account. The software does not supervise itself, and we cannot see your account at all.
5We are not advising you
MyBoTrade Ltd sells software. Nothing on this site, in the software, or in any support correspondence is investment advice, a personal recommendation, or an assessment of whether a product is suitable or appropriate for you. We do not know your circumstances, your objectives or your capacity for loss.
We do not hold your money, cannot deposit to or withdraw from your trading account, and do not receive any share of your trading results. The parameters, the broker, the capital and the decision to run the software are all yours.
6Suitability, regulation and tax
- Leveraged trading is restricted or prohibited for retail clients in some jurisdictions. It is your responsibility to check that using these products is lawful where you live, and to use a broker authorised to deal with you.
- Profits and losses may have tax consequences that depend entirely on your own circumstances. We give no tax advice.
- If you are unsure whether any of this is right for you, take independent advice from someone qualified and paid to look after your interests.
7Anyone promising certainty is selling you something else
You will see trading products advertised with guaranteed returns, “risk-free” systems, or claims that an algorithm cannot lose. None of that is true of any trading system, including ours. We publish our losing months precisely so that the record you judge us on is the real one.
